Meeting of State Cabinet-Approval Given for Land Allotment to Various Communities for Welfare ActivitiesJaipur, February  2. Approval was given to allot land for free of cost or at a concessional rate to various communities for welfare activities in the state cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday. This decision of the cabinet will give pace to the social upliftment and welfare works.The state cabinet has decided to maintain the order of allotment of land made earlier at a concessional rate of 5% to Jatia community in Jodhpur for girls’ hostel. With this decision, the economic burden on the community will be reduced and it will help in promoting girls’ education in the region.The cabinet gave its approval to allot 1341.08 square yards land in khasra number 609 free of cost to Jatt Patti Prajapat community, Balotara. Earlier, it was decided to give this land at 50% of the then prevailing reserved rate. Besides this, the cabinet has approved to free 6 bighas 7 biswa land of Aaraji khasra number 38, 39 and 41 of village Sevarampura in Tonk district from the acquisition. Apart from this, it was approved to release the bank guarantee of Rs 21.5 crore deposited for setting up a medical college in Sriganganagar by not forfeiting it.The state cabinet in the meeting authorised the Chief Minister to finalise the Governor’s address in the budget session.——-
