Employees Are An Important Link in Effective Implementation of Government’s Public Welfare Scheme : Chief MinisterJaipur, February 1. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that our Government has always been ready to take decisions in the interest of the employees. Govt. officers and employees are an integral part of the State Government and they are an important link in the effective implementatio of the Government’s public welfare schemes up to the grassroots level. Shri Gehlot was addressing pre-budget dialogue with the representatives of various employee federations through video conference from his official residence on Tuesday. He said that the State Government is taking suggestions from every section of the society to make the budget inclusive and public welfare-oriented, thus the employee federations have been invited to give their important suggestions. This will help the Government to take decisions in the interest of employees based on these suggestions. Continuous Dialogue is Necessary to Resolve ProblemsThe Chief Minister said that if continuous dialogue is maintained between the State Government and employee organisations then various problems can be solved easily. Decisions can be taken on various demands by holding talks on time. He suggested that various employee organisations should form a coordination committee to prepare a platform for a dialogue with the Government. He said that the delegation of employees can put up their valid demands before the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary Finance and Principal Secretary DoP. The State Government is making efforts to fulfil the announcements made earlier on priority, he said. Commendable Work Done During the Corona Infection Shri Gehlot appreciated representatives of the employee organisations for putting forward their points effectively. As far as possible, the State Government will make efforts to include the positive suggestions in the budget, he said. He highly praised the cooperation extended by the officers and employees during the Covid-19 infection and said that the employees have done commendable work in fulfilling our motto ‘Koi Bhooka Na Soye’ (no one sleeps hungry). Extended Gratitude for the Steps Taken in the Interest of EmployeesRepresentatives of various employee unions praised the initiative of the Chief Minister for inviting them for the pre-budget dialogue. These representatives extended their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot for the decisions taken in the interest of employees including new recruitment of ministerial employees and steps taken towards resolving their problems, for paving the way of promotion of officers by removing the anomaly in the rules of Rajasthan Gramin Vikas Seva (Rajasthan Rural Development Service), for changing the designation of Nurse Grade-II to Nursing Officer and Nurse Grade-I to Senior Nursing Officer, for creating 11,353 posts of Vice-Principal in Government Senior Secondary Schools and for providing a better opportunity of promotion to lecturers by creating new posts of principal at Government Secondary Schools. Principal Secretary DoP Shri Hemant Gera said that guidelines have been issued from time to time for amendment in various service rules and for timely promotions. Suggestions are being taken from various sections of the society to make the State budget people-centric. In such a situation, suggestions from the representatives of employee organisations will also prove useful, he added.Chief Secretary Smt.
